Tips on Making the Right Choice for Growth Hormone Supplements

Human Growth Hormones (HGH) are naturally produced in the body. The pituitary gland is a pea-sized structure present in the brain. This is more like the command center which maintains the normal growth and functioning of the body.

However, there are certain medical conditions which require the administration of these growth hormones externally. This is why the FDA has approved the use of synthetic HGH in 1985. This led to the legal use of HGH as a part of the treatment for these medical conditions in children as well as adults. Some of these medical conditions are:

  • Turner Syndrome
  • Chronic Kidney insufficiency
  • HGH insufficiency
  • Prader-Willie Syndrome
  • Low bone density
  • Chronic renal failure

But, as of today, there are many individuals who take these synthetic supplements without a doctor’s approval or a prescription. Though these hormones are technically effective in making one feel and look younger and healthier, they are also believed to increase the mortality rate of an individual.

Too many Varieties to Make the Right Choice

The market is brimming with various growth hormone supplements. They are available in three different types, which are:

  • Oral sprays
  • Injections and
  • Pills

Anything, that is not produced by the body on its own and is synthesized, will either take time to prepare the body to its presence or will cause side effects. In this case, it is the latter.

Oral sprays have known to increase cardiac output in athletes. They also have a positive effect on the lowering of blood pressure and enhance sexual function along with making an individual look more youthful. This being said, there are certain cons to these oral sprays. People under the age of 35, pregnant women, individuals with a history of cancer, and the ones who use prescription drugs are advised against taking these oral sprays. Joint pains and inflammation are the common side effects which dissipate over regular use.

Injectable versions of growth supplements do require a prescription and usually meant to be taken at least twice or thrice in a day. There are also certain side effects to taking these injections on a regular basis. These could be prickling feeling, burning eyes, crawling sensation, pounding in the ears, severe headaches, and slow or fast heartbeat.

Pills too have more or less the same effect on the body, be it the positive effect or the side effects. It is, however, noticed that some pills are herbal supplements which are much cheaper than the oral sprays or the injectable versions. Since they are derived from natural sources, they do not show any side effects as such.

Don’t Be Gullible, Thorough Research Is A Must

It is likely that you may get puzzled with the number of options that circle around HGH for sale. For someone planning on reaping the benefits, the sugar-coated version provided on the company websites might be enough. But, in truth, it isn’t. Knowing the pros and cons of the desired growth hormone supplement is necessary. One is advised to do a thorough research on the products available in the market, and to also consult a doctor before proceeding to enhance the body. For, the body makeup plays a key role in choosing the right supplement.
