4 Easy Peasy Health Improvements to Make before Summer

Summer is on its way…hooray!

But my beach body isn’t ready…oh no.

1. Walk it out

Many of us don’t have the time or motivation to do a hardcore workout every day. If you are one of these people, then an easy and effective way to get a daily dose of exercise is by walking. Whenever you are faced with a decision between being a pedestrian, a driver or a passenger, choose to go on foot wherever possible. So walk to work, walk your kids to school, walk to the shops…you get the message. Walking is such a great form of physical activity. It’s easy, it gets you out and about and not only does it improve your body, but it is also beneficial for the mind.

2. Tone it up

With your exercise being taken care of with lots of long, lovely walks, you can now turn your attention to toning up those arm, tummy and leg muscles for your beautiful beach body. Treat yourself to a pair of dumbbells (and do give yourself a little challenge with the weight). Toning exercises are great because they can fit easily into your daily routine. For example, when you are watching your favorite TV show, do a few bicep curls. Or when you are waiting for you dinner to be ready, lunge for a while.

3. Keep it clean

We all know that eating well improves our inner and external health, so it’s time to assess your diet and make notes for improvement. If you are considering starting a diet to prepare your body for summer make sure you do your research to make sure it’s right for you.
